Leather and Envy

There is only one person who I envy. It's not a hate sort of envy, but more of a...I wish i owned everything in your closet, had your art skills, and had pretty hair like you. But today she had the best carmel brown, curved heel boots on with a matching vintage looking bag. I feel in love with the bag/shoe combination. But instead of asking here where she got the stuff, i went to topshop (My go-to when i'm in need of something) and found these. Sure they aren't AS amazing, but they would work and they are both about 50-80 euros. So steep, but i'm to lazy and have too much homework to find anything else.

I've come to a conclusion that I like fashion that confuses me, makes me laugh, and holds my attention through the entire 30-some outfits. Armand Basi did all three.

new blog?

At the time I made this blog, i knew nothing about fashion blogs. I realize now i need more of a vision for my blog, but I don't know where to start. I want a new name first off, the lack of creativity resulted only because I was too excited to make the stupid blog I rushed through the naming process. With blogs out there called The Clothes Horse, Quiet Milk, and Everybody is Ugly, mine hardly compares.

Where do girls come up with these inspiring names? And when will i finally post an outfit post...the world (or at least I) will never know.

Delias Spring Clothes

I'm so sorry for the lack of blog posts, between pom states and studying for finals I have little time to think about clothes, or fashion in general. I'm in a style rut once again, but this time all I want is spring.

I want spring, the clothes are so fresh and airy. If only i had the money to spend at Nordstrom to buy all these lovely clothes.

John Galliano FRTW08

I recently decided if i ever want to be a designer, i will try to be as creative as John Galliano or quit. His Fall 2008 ready to wear collection has been in my head for a while, but i couldn't remember what year or who designed it. Which in a way is a good thing, so despite a label it was still an amazing collection. However, I'm sure people argued it isn't exactly "ready-to-wear", it is still a collection of beautifully and artistically styled pieces.
