So after a lovely day of collaging 2 poster boards (which makes a total of 4 which take over my wall, my mom thinks that hundreds of models staring at you is creepy but i love it) i decided to be slightly more productive and pop microwave popcorn and drink apple juice in bed and watch clueless. after which is ended here...

i found fun stuff! yay topshop and american apparel to bad your clothes are way out of my price range. boo!
topshop ankle booties: love the grey color and the detail on the front. to bad ankle boots make my calf's look huge
american apparel figure skater dress: i saw this in a teenvogue from who knows how long ago and but it on my collage. i want one REALLY badly

topshop playsuit: oh how i wish it was summer and i could wear this with a bright red bikini and vintage shades and pretend i was a 50's housewife on vacation. or i could pretend to be normal and not do that...

hate and love

i hate being a hypocrite.

but still i manage to hate and love things at the same time. as in i wear a horrid hollister sweatshirt to hang out with my boyfriend and i cringe when i see a girl wearing the identical thing the next day. same with pom, i hate it so much but i still go back. is this wrong? or is everyone a little hypocritical at times?

and in fashion news...
i suck at getting dressed everyday. ive gotten so lazy and upset these days. why do schools feel the inside temperature has to match the outside. i cant concentrate in class when its 50 degrees. and my knee is messed up to say the least thanks to that sport i love so dearly so no more heels for kelsie. so im stuck wearing flats everday [blah] and wearing layers or sweaters [double blah] i need summer NOW! and for anyone who envies michigans 4 seasons your crazy

and in other "my life is weird" news...
im reading THE weirdest book, the tattoed girl, by joyce carol oates. i knew instantly when the librarian said she was a good author i was screwed. and i am. its weird, like the girl has tattoes or so she thinks (how do you not know if you have a tattoo?) and then she like has saggy boobs or something (the main character likes to comment on hers alot) oh and she got kicked and puked...sounds like a great read huh?

x's and o's for now!

one actual fashion post!

So you see im STILL obsessed with spring 08...more reviews

Ralph Lauren: hated most, but i loved the detailed beading on the bodice, its a really pretty dress not to high fashion and pretty wearable. and the champagne color is to die for. Modernist: never heard of these guys before to be quite honest, but im in love with the um modern designs. the pencil skirt sheer blouse standout shoe combo is cute. and the 3-d pattern on the breast is really cool as well
modernist: 3 things: its purple, love. that lace is the shit, and i like sleek hair
Christopher Kane: im definatly not the first to comment on the bee like 3d shapes of the line. but its such a breath of fresh air. and the chunky shoes weigh it down just right. i also love pink its been popping up alot lately and the coral tint is a different twist on it
marc by marc jacobs: favorite designer, i love poofy skirts, and the gladiator shoes are unoriginal but he made them work. i like the detailing on the dress [ click to enlarge]
Misonni: i loved the end of the show with the long elegent dresses. i like the gold and champange combo. the dress is simple but it just glides so effortlessly over her. its the kind of dress that probably looks good on alot of people
marc by mar jacobs: hit: floral top with tourcoise ( so excited to see it on the runway) and vest is hot. miss: pants they look like someone decided at the last minure to roll them
modernist: no words can describe how amazing this is:: structured skirt, amazingly detailed blouse, covered eyes, all purple.
alberta ferretti: love the all smoky gray, kinda flapper goes to greece. skirt is really cute
alberta feretti: like the dress, but i love the girl walking backwards the front of the outfit isnt as cute, but the blue on the shoes made me smile
alberta ferretti: sex godess in a shift dress? cute use of sexy undergarments under a simple dress. very understated but haut.
christopher kane: again with the layers
christopher kane: this is something no one should dare wear, but its so fun to look at...cheetah-liscious

agree or disagree?? comments please =]

Spirt week

Amidst memoirs for english, proofs in geometry, and spanish worksheets i decided to write mid week! i have a cold and i slept for about 2 hours today, and i tried to look cute for school which didnt happen (skinnys, patent flats, purple and black patterned tank, and black sweater gag me) but after my nap i had no energy to work on actual important so why not blog about a bunch of bs...

Homecoming: time where people go all out with school spirit, buy dresses, stress about hair and nail appointments, and cry about how bad their football team sucks.

but this year there is more drama! celebrity day for spirit week!

yes i know its lame and corny but im extremely excited about it o be quite honest. I can finally dress super high fashion for school and NOT get made fun of.

Options:
im weighing between coco Chanel which would be amazingly fun but people wouldn't understand it, possibly Leighton meister (Blair Waldorf) so i can dress like a slutty school girl and get away with it, or maybe being super cool and being Angelina Jolie equipped with all black, sexy waves, overly plumped lips, and babies =] OR maybe posh spice...cause whats not fun about being a beyotch all day? no offense if you love her

I can tell your bag is fake.

**warning extreme rant on fake purses and people who carry them**

so recently i have been so annoyed with fake things. heidi's fake boobs, nose, and hair. peoples fake attitude. and mostly fake purses. your not fooling anyone.
recently ive heard this multiple times "I love your chanel bag"
shoot me. i live in middle class suburbs NO one is carrying thousand dollar chanel bags, they are fake but people still go to canal street and buy their totally cute chanel bags equiped with shitty metal, terrible stiching, and designens that would put coco chanel to shame.

i keep reading other blogs about fakes and how to spot them.
obviousally if you just purchases a hot pink and white "chanel" bag or a white and orange "coach" bag chances are its a fake. and that 20 dollars you just spent is going to criminals and the people who actually purchase real purses are being charged more no thanks to your foolish behavior.

every purse i buy i check for authenticity i know the rules. check the zipper, check the stiching, check the dust bag, the production number, and the tag

if your coach bag doesnt look like these its fake...and your fooling NO ONE.

Notice: the c's line up on the center. the leters are raised on the tag. and the letters are centered on the leather center
The tag on the bag should be leather not hard plastic and the letters raises
first your coach should come with a dust bag and it should look just like this there are no others
and the inside serial sumber should look like this:: good stiching, all english, and the number sign should be an "n" with a "0"

so sorry for the huge purse rant and information you should know by now fashionistas. but this is more directed toward my hollister clone school mates. i hope they are put to shame and layed to rest with their "chanel" bags.

luella/harlequin/proenza

Sorry for lack of posts, school is a bitch to say the least. spanish 3 and proofs in gemoetry are killing me. along with the bruises and twisted ligiments from pom practice. i have barely enough time to finish school work and sleep let alone keep up with trends! my style is in a rut ive stuck to jeans and tshirts or sweaters for the past week. and i think i wore the same pair of patent flats 3 days in a row...so this lovely saturday morning after dying my hair darker, cleaning my closer ( i put my jeans i perfect piles so they look like a mall) and complting geometry homework i decided to hit up style.com aka my life to find new ideas and updates on fashionweek. luella and proenza are still in my top despite that they are polar opposites.

harlequin: cesare paciotti's shoes make me smile. they were in a trend spotlight section of style.com very reminiscent of emilio pucci
luella...one word love. all the candy sweet colors just scream spring. the dainty florals and corseted tops with tiered pencil and a-line skirts with a como of pillbox hats, patent pumps, and strong fushia lips.
in love with the lavender mary janes and tiered? skirt
somewhat plain simple and sickly sweet. but its just to adorable not to comment on
and aside from the dainty florals and layered chiffon..i also love proenza schouler. much stronger and sleeker then the fall stuff. i love the leather and structured shoulders. the goggles in some of the looks are some what reminiscent of charlie and chocolate factory to me...and who doesnt love candy??

fashion week again

so heres a few pictures from my favorite pieces ive seen so far in any fashionweek 08' lookbook so far, spring seems prety predictible this year with etheral dresses and rough hardcore standout shoes; ps enlarge the pics they kinda take away from the look this small
alexander wang: kinda the look we all wish we could wear on the weekends and not look like our teacher whos half trying to hard half still wearing that nasty bleached denim shirt thing. but alexander did it well and paired it with some kick ass shoes..go you
james coviello: boring line but i love the grey and yellowish green mix with those iconic standout shoes
Zechia: okay so its not new york fashion week, but japans fashion week is way more creative then ours no offense american designers, but the color and innovative head dresses? i guess thats what ill call it for now are just so interesting the red one intrigues me alot.
miss sixy: love the details such as the socks and shes really gorgeus is she new?
alexander wang: looks kinda like bad drag but i still cant help but like it
charlotte ronson: pretty much the essense of spring, and once again stand out shoes i think i see a trend coming on
charlotte ronson: again goregeus dress and standout shoes; ps this girl looks about um 13?

fashion week part 1

Diane Von Furstenberg's rock flower child look is gorgeus. like it seems like the perfect breath of fresh air that we will all need by the time december rolls around. and im also quite in love with the flower "wreaths" and how she used an indian-black girl in her show who for the record is stunning and she was in orange which isnt my personal favorite color it worked for her.

so this may be my inspiration for the entire spring, i love the mix of the fierce red sandles and the almost etheral white dress.and this was probably the fiercest look in the collection, the detailing on he bottom is ah-freaking-mazing. and the black ribbon in the flower wreath is to die for

karl lagerfeld

im obsessed with the models red nails which adds just the right amount of color to the all black ensemble, props to lagerfeld for that one

so despite the fact that i know zero french i love to browse the vogue paris website, and upon "reading" a karl lagerfeld interview i saw this picture which for the record is absoultly lovely and will be my inspiration for weeks to come for sure
